| With finals done here and some free time on my hands, I have decided to take up recruiting for my corp. I tend to be the only one charismatic enough (pff... okay, stupid enough) to do it. But rather than just post the general spam up here, I thought I'd post our more prestigious offerings here to see if I can get some higher quality talent.

| I was born in the summer of 1986, and apparently, the nine months my mother was pregnant with me were the peak time to see Haley's Commet in the sky. She says this explains a lot about how I turned out.
So, was anyone else a Haley's Commet baby? Or born under any astronomical event?
EDIT: Um...I really didn't mean to start a debate on astrology. I really meant, was anyone born under major astronomical events, like commets, meteor showers, etc. Sorry! | comments: 26 comments or Leave a comment |

I'm looking to find a new home for this beautiful boy. I paid $350 for him and am asking that much everywhere else, but for a good home with established reptile owners, I'd drop it to $300.
I live in San Marcos, Texas. Pick-up only.
He's currently in a 55gal and I can't afford to buy the tank he's going to need when he gets older. I'll sell the tank for $150 (which is less than the going rate on Craigslist, I think), but y'all need to be aware that he's going to eventually outgrow it. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
| Augh, so when I posted my entry post, I had a minor computer crash and wasn't able to respond to the questions. >.<;;
But now I'm back, and I'll try to answer them thoroughly here...
My iguana is still a baby, maybe a foot long, and the man from the shop said it would be fine to put him in a 30-40 gallon tank. He seems to be moving around quite comfortably for now, which should give us adequate time to build a bigger cage.
We do have a UVB bulb in place, 5.0 strength to be exact. We use a cycle of Repti-glo UVB bulb, and heat glo infrared heat lamp at night, (and sun glo during the day as well for warmth, considering my room is very cold.)
I mist his cage with warm water every hour when I'm around the house, until it's dripping. He seems to enjoy it, he loves to slide on the side of the tank after it's wet.
He's also very active when I take him out of the cage, and he roams freely around my room as much as he wants until bedtime.
But recently, for maybe 2 days or so, it seems like he's not eating...I personally haven't seen him eat, and it doesn't seem like there's much, if any, food missing from his bowl when we feed him. I know for a fact he doesn't have a blockage, he defecates daily...so I don't understand why he's not eating, or how I can help him eat???
We're giving him a moist smushy pink food, all veggies, with strong attractants so he can find it. We also put out fresh leafy greens and strawberries, grapes, and tomatoes...he still won't eat. I'm unsure what to do! | comments: 12 comments or Leave a comment |
